1. Subscription Plans
WaterApply currently offers two plans:
- Free — limited usage at no cost.
- Pro — billed monthly, in advance.
Current prices and limits are shown on the pricing page and in your billing dashboard.
2. How to Cancel
- Sign in to WaterApply, open Billing, and click Manage subscription to access the Stripe customer portal.
- From the portal, choose Cancel subscription.
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You retain Pro features until that date.
If you cannot access the portal, email us at waterapply1@gmail.com from the email on your account and we will cancel the subscription for you.
3. Automatic Renewal
Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each monthly billing period at the then-current price unless you cancel before that date.
4. General Refund Policy
Except where required by law (see Section 5), all payments are non-refundable. We do not pro-rate refunds for partial billing periods. Cancelling a subscription stops future renewals but does not refund the current period.
We may, at our sole discretion, issue a refund or service credit in cases of:
- A clear billing error on our part (for example, a duplicate charge).
- An accidental upgrade reported within 72 hours, if Pro features have not been used.
- A significant Service outage exceeding 24 consecutive hours.
5. Statutory Withdrawal Rights
5.1 European Union / European Economic Area / United Kingdom
If you are a consumer in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, you have a 14-day right to withdraw from a paid subscription without giving any reason. The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day the contract was entered into.
However, by starting to use a paid feature during the withdrawal period you expressly request that the Service begin before the period ends and you acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once the Service has been fully performed for the billing period. WaterApply's features (resume tailoring, cover letter generation, and recruiter outreach drafts) are digital content delivered immediately on request, and each generation consumes part of the Service for the billing period.
To exercise the right of withdrawal where it applies, email waterapply1@gmail.com within 14 days of purchase. We will refund the amount you paid using the same payment method, less any portion of the Service consumed if applicable.
5.2 Quebec
If you are a consumer in Quebec, the Quebec Consumer Protection Act applies. If we fail to perform a fundamental obligation, you may have the right to cancel and obtain a refund. Such rights cannot be waived. Contact waterapply1@gmail.com.
5.3 Other Jurisdictions
You may have additional non-waivable refund rights under the consumer protection laws of your jurisdiction. Nothing in this Policy limits those rights.
6. Chargebacks
If you have a billing concern, please contact us first; most issues can be resolved by email within a few business days. Initiating a chargeback without first contacting us may result in suspension of your account pending resolution. Repeated chargebacks that we successfully dispute may result in permanent termination.
7. Price Changes and Plan Changes
- We may change the prices of our plans at any time. We give at least 30 days' notice for price increases that affect existing subscribers.
- If you do not accept a price increase, you may cancel before the new price takes effect.
- If we introduce additional billing options in the future, you will be able to switch between them from the customer portal. Switching applies at the next renewal unless otherwise stated.
8. Trials and Promotions
If we offer a free trial or promotional period, the specific terms (length, eligibility, and post-trial pricing) will be displayed at the time of the offer and will apply in addition to this Policy. Unless otherwise stated, free trials automatically convert into paid subscriptions at the end of the trial period.
9. What Happens to Your Data
- Cancelling Pro does not delete your account. You can keep using the Free plan, subject to its limits.
- Content generated under Pro remains accessible on Free unless it exceeds Free-plan retention.
